Congratulations to Dr Chao Wang, Lecturer in Electronic Systems, in the School of Engineering and Digital Arts who has received a research award in the value of £14,868.35 from The Royal Society to investigate highly efficient ultrafast optical imaging systems.
Dr Wang’s current research focuses on developing novel ultrafast imaging tools for biomedical applications, by merging state-of-the-art optical communications hardware, advanced signal processing algorithms, with bioengineering technology.
