On one of the hottest days of the year so far, Tuesday 30th June, a team of students and staff from EDA attended the Big Bang Fair South East which took place at the South of England Showground, Haywards Heath. Part of a nationwide programme, the Big Bang celebrates and raises the profile of young peoples achievements in science and engineering.
An estimated 7,000 young people from across the region and their teachers attended the event and among the hundreds of activities, students aged between nine and 19 were able to take part in EDA’s innovative and interactive Defeat SPECTRA challenge. Throughout the day, the exhibit attracted 214 participants of which 60% were girls.
