Chinese Government Scholarships

The University of Kent has again been granted two Government Scholarships by the Ministry of Education of the P R China. This scholarship will enable either undergraduate or postgraduate students to spend the academic year 2015/16 in China studying and learning Mandarin. Further details can be found at http://www.csc.edu.cn/laihua or www.campuschina.org. Students have a wide choice of institutions that they can study at across China.

The procedure for application is as follows:

1. Students should write a short statement of not more than one side of A4 highlighting how they would benefit from the scholarship and submit this to the School.(Statements to Tara Sutton, Recruitment Assistant, T.J.Sutton@kent.ac.uk)

2. If Schools receive more than one application the Head of School (or his or her nominee) should rank the applications before forwarding them to me.

3. The final decision on nominations will be taken by the International Development Scholarship Panel. Please arrange for any applications to reach International Development by Friday, 20 March 2015.
