Some 420 students, aged 18 – 21 years from 65 counties, attended the annual International Youth Science Forum hosted by Imperial College London.
A party of 40 students, with interests in electronics, visited the School of Engineering and Digital Arts on Tuesday 29 July 2014. In the morning they visited three laboratories, Optics and Communications, Antennas, and the Engineering lab. In addition they had a session on mathematical puzzles from Professor John Dore.
In the afternoon, Professor Mohamed Sobhy gave a lecture-demonstration on Chaos Theory. The students were most appreciative of our efforts to make their visit a memorable one.
