Congratulations to Richard Guest, Gareth Howells and Mike Fairhurst from the School of Engineering and Digital Arts who have been awarded €183,059 for an EU CIP project entitled “PIDaaS – Private Identity as a Service”. The project seeks to develop a commercial system to enable a robust server-driven biometric authentication solution on a mobile platform. The Kent team will be leading the testing and evaluation phase of the work which sees the collaboration of 10 organisation across Europe.
