On Tuesday 1st July 2014, a team comprising of students and staff from the School of Engineering and Digital Arts will be exhibiting our innovative and interactive Defeat SPECTRA challenge at The Big Bang Fair South East, which takes place at the South of England Showground from 10 am until 3 pm. Part of a nationwide programme, the Big Bang celebrates and raises the profile of young people’s achievements in science and engineering.
An estimated 4,000 9-19 year olds and their teachers from across the region are expected to attend The Big Bang Fair South East and enjoy a day of exciting and fun-filled shows, interactive displays and hands-on workshops all aimed at inspiring them to consider the varied opportunities and careers that studying STEM subjects can open up to them.
