A new book authored by two members of staff and a graduate from the School of Engineering and Digital Arts, entitled ‘Circularly Polarized Antennas’ has been jointly published by IEEE Press and John Wiley & Sons recently.
The book was written by Steven Gao, Professor of RF/Microwave Engineering, and Dr Qi Luo, Research Associate from the School of Engineering and Digital Arts and recent PhD graduate, Dr Fuguo Zhu. This is the first book focusing on theory and design techniques of circularly polarized antennas.
Circularly polarized antenna is a key technology becoming increasingly important for advanced satellite communication, navigation, RFID and mobile communication system applications.
