Engineering PhD Studentships

The School of Engineering and Digital Arts conducts high-quality research that has had significant national and international impact with the spread of our expertise allowing us to respond rapidly to new developments.

There is a flourishing student population studying for postgraduate research degrees in a supportive teaching and research environment. We are well equipped with a wide range of laboratory and computing facilities.

We currently have two engineering PhD studentships available to UK residents supporting fees and maintenance at the standard UK Research Council’s rate. We are looking for excellent candidates with a strong first or Masters degree in Electronic or Computer Engineering or a related subject. Successful candidates will demonstrate academic excellence and outstanding research potential.

Length of Award: 3 years from September 2014
