Congratulations to Dr Chao Wang from the School of Engineering and Digital Arts who has recently been awarded a Career Integration Grant in the value of 100,000 Euros funded by the European Union FP7 Marie-Curie Actions.
The project, entitled “Next generation ULTrafast continuously running Imaging System for biomedical applications” (NULTIS), aims to develop an automated ultrafast flow imaging system to evaluate, analyze, screen and sort a large population of particles with high specificity, high sensitivity, and high precision in real-time. The technique developed in this project will provide an indispensable tool for significant advancements in interdisciplinary biomedical research where high- throughput imaging instruments are essential.
