Research Seminar – Everysense Everywhere Human Communication

The next School of Engineering and Digital Arts Research Seminar is entitled Everysense Everywhere Human Communication and will be delivered by Professor Adrian David Cheok from City University, London in KBSX2, Kent Business School Extension from 2 pm to 3 pm, on Wednesday, 6th November 2013. Professor Cheok is the Professor of Pervasive Computing, City University, London.

Professor Cheok’s talk will outline new facilities that are arising in the hyperconnected Internet era within human media spaces. This allows new embodied interaction between humans, species, and computation both socially and physically, with the aim of novel interactive communication and entertainment.

Adrian David Cheok (www.adriancheok.info) is Professor of Pervasive Computing at City University,London, Founder and Director of the Mixed Reality Lab and previously Professor at Keio University. His research interests include mixed reality, human-computer interfaces, wearable computers, pervasive and ubiquitous computing.
