“Next Generation Wireless Communications using Radio Over Fibre” – Newly published book

Nathan Gomes, a radio over fibre expert in the School’s Broadband and Wireless Communications Research Group is the lead editor of the newly published book “Next Generation Wireless Communications Using Radio over Fiber”. This book comes at an important time for future wireless systems with standardisation of fourth generation wireless systems still ongoing. It describes the potential use of co-ordinated multipoint systems supported by radio over fibre and brings together the system concept for centralized processing. The book contains a number of chapters co-authored by Dr Gomes and other members of the research group, Dr David Wake, Dr Huiling Zhu and Luis Vieira. It is published by Wiley and further information is available on their website.
