Huiling Zhu’s sole authored paper entitled ‘Spectrum Efficiency in Distributed Antenna Systems with Frequency Reuse’ was selected as best paper within the Wireless Communications Symposium of the IEEE Global Communications Conference (GLOBECOM) 2011, the annual flagship conference of the IEEE Communications Society, held in Houston, Texas, USA from 5-9th December 2011. Only 14 papers were recognised for awards from over 1000 papers to be presented and Huiling was the only author from the UK to receive this award.
