Dr. Farzin Deravi has been elected to the Board of the European Association for Biometrics (EAB) and has also been appointed to the Chair of its Committee on Training and Education.
The EAB is a newly founded organisation with its legal base in The Netherlands. It is a non-profit organization seeking to advance the proper and beneficial use of biometrics in Europe and abroad, taking into account the interests of European citizens, industries, academia and operators, including governments.
Dr. Deravi is a Reader in Information Engineering at the School of Engineering and Digital Arts and is a member of the Information and Image Engineering Research Group.
