Congratulations to all our MSc and PhD students who graduated in Canterbury Cathedral on Friday, 18th November. This was followed by a Reception and Prize Giving in the School where families, friends and staff celebrated their success. Prizes were awarded as follows:-
The Morpho UK Ltd Prize was awarded by Mr. Fred Preston, Morpho UK Ltd, to Adjumoke Margaret Owokade for Excellence in Biometrics on the Information, Security and Biometrics MSc.
The Rohde & Schwarz Project Prize was awarded by Mr. Steve Edwards of Rohde & Schwarz to Dumtoochukwu Obiora Oyeka for his project in the wireless field on the Broadband and Mobile Communication Networks MSc.
The IEEE UK&RI Telecommunications Prize was awarded by Dr. Nathan Gomes, Chair of the Broadband and Mobile Communication Networks MSc, to Ebeneris Elorm Sedzramedo who was the best MSc student in the telecommunications field on the Broadband and Mobile Communication Networks MSc.
The Procon Engineering Project Prize was awarded by Mr. Mark Hopkins of Procon Engineering to Mark Esdale for the best project on the Embedded Systems and Instrumentation MSc.
Certificates from Canterbury Christ Church University were also awarded to student Ambassadors from the School who helped with the Solar Car Challenge earlier in the year. Certificates were awarded to Shih Cheng Yang, Mfonobong Inyang, Shaun Rodrigues, Jeanne James, Adejumoke Margaret Owokade, Ebeneris Elorm Sedzramedo and Adam Taylor.
