The next School Research Seminar will be given by Professor Alwyn Seeds, Professor of Opto-electronics and Head of Department of the Department of Electronic and Electrical Engineering, University College London in the Jennison Lecture Theatre on Friday, 27th May
The talk will describe the use of telecommunications-based photonic device technologies to create power-efficient sources and sensitive detectors for highly coherent THz signals. Applications of these technologies to wireless data transmission will be described.
