The University’s brand new Production Studio is nearing completion. This facility, comprising over 100 square metres of filming/performance space along with a control room and sound studio, will be used on our Digital Visual Effects MSc and Drama and Multimedia BA degrees.The main studio will be equipped with an extensive lighting grid and will incorporate a permanent green screen with infinity curve. Facilities will be available for high definition (HD) video recording, with live capture and monitoring. Sound recording equipment will include both analogue and digital mixers and a selection of studio and radio microphones.The Production Studio is due to open at the start of the new academic year, in two weeks’ time.
