Reflecting upon this, here are some of the top highlights!<\/p>\n<p>Employability Festival started with a bang in Medway on 10<sup>th<\/sup> October, with Enterprise Rent-a-Car and Teach First running skills based workshops, with the Chartered Insurance Institute and Civil Service Fast Stream offering sessions the following days.<\/p>\n<p>The highlight was the Employability Fair, 12<sup>th<\/sup> October 2016, which involved organisations such as Arriva, Apple, IBM, SEO London, FDM Group, Kent Police, to name a few! Around 600 students attended the fair, impressing upon potential recruiters!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-78 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/employabilitypoints\/files\/2016\/11\/Untitled-design-3.jpg\" alt=\"untitled-design-3\" width=\"940\" height=\"788\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/employabilitypoints\/files\/2016\/11\/Untitled-design-3.jpg 940w, https:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/employabilitypoints\/files\/2016\/11\/Untitled-design-3-300x251.jpg 300w, https:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/employabilitypoints\/files\/2016\/11\/Untitled-design-3-768x644.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 940px) 100vw, 940px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Canterbury EmpFest started on 24<sup>th<\/sup> October and during the first week, sessions were delivered by the Discovery Network International, PwC, Enterprise Rent-a-Car and Cisco, to name a few! Furthermore, there was the Science \u2018Get Your Geek On\u2019 Fair, Work and Study Abroad Fair and the JobShop Part-Time Recruitment Fair.<\/p>\n<p>The pinnacle of EmpFest was\u00a0the annual Careers Fair, held on 1<sup>st<\/sup> November 2016. This saw over 100 top graduate recruiters exhibit, with thousands of students gaining the chance to meet them and find out more about graduate opportunities!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-91 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/employabilitypoints\/files\/2016\/11\/Untitled-design-5.jpg\" alt=\"untitled-design-5\" width=\"940\" height=\"788\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/employabilitypoints\/files\/2016\/11\/Untitled-design-5.jpg 940w, https:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/employabilitypoints\/files\/2016\/11\/Untitled-design-5-300x251.jpg 300w, https:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/employabilitypoints\/files\/2016\/11\/Untitled-design-5-768x644.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 940px) 100vw, 940px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Overall, EmpFest provided University of Kent students with unique and exclusive opportunities to enhance their employability, learn about potential careers, develop essential skills, and of course, earn more Employability Points!<\/p>\n<p>But what next?
