Don\u2019t worry, you can still turn the year around \u2013 by logging all your co-curricular activities for Employability Points!<\/p>\n<p>Need some inspiration? Here are five ways to get points this January:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Attend Refreshers Fayre \u2013 <strong>5 points<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>(Weds 17<sup>th<\/sup> and Thurs 18<sup>th<\/sup> January for Canterbury students and Weds 31<sup>st<\/sup> January for Medway students)<\/p>\n<p>Come along and have a chat, the EP team will be there to answer any questions you have about points, rewards or our exciting sponsors!<\/p>\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li>Run in an election campaign <strong>\u2013 15 points<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>(Nominations open on Mon 22<sup>nd<\/sup> January)<\/p>\n<p>You can run to be a full-time or part-time officer, and make a positive impact on the lives of current and future students. You don\u2019t need any previous training and there are a whole host of officer positions to apply for. Find out more <a href=\"https:\/\/kentunion.co.uk\/pto-elections\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"3\">\n<li>Kent Union Recruitment Day<strong>\u2013 5 points<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>(Tues 23<sup>rd<\/sup> and Weds 24<sup>th<\/sup> January)<\/p>\n<p>This is a chance for students interested in working on Campus to find out more information.\u00a0Check out the <a href=\"https:\/\/kentunion.co.uk\/\">Kent Union<\/a> website for further details.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"4\">\n<li>Complete an Award \u2013 <strong>15-60 points<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Spend just a few hours completing the Careers Award on Moodle for a whopping<strong> 60 points<\/strong>. See <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/careers\/moodle.htm\">here<\/a> for more details. Have a go at the Enterprise Skills Award with points ranging from <strong>15-30.<\/strong> Find out more <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/enterprise\/hub\/skills-award.html\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"5\">\n<li>Volunteering <strong>\u2013 10-40<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>There are many volunteering opportunities to get involved with. Whether your interests are international, social, sustainability-awareness or well-being, you are bound to find a worthy cause to help. Kent Union give some example <a href=\"https:\/\/kentunion.co.uk\/volunteering\/\">here<\/a>. Remember, your volunteering does not have to be on campus or arranged through the university to get you points.<\/p>\n<p>New year, new you, and lots of new rewards available with EP!
