Are you assisting with planning student events?<\/p>\n<p>If you answer yes to both, have you considered gaining further experience in events management? If so, make sure you check out the exclusive EP rewards in this area!<\/p>\n<p>The EP Scheme has plenty of rewards focused on events management and if you are looking for a broad insight into this sector, make sure you check out <strong>Canterbury Cathedral Lodge<\/strong>, who are offering a 3-week placement for 150 points. Here, you will be tasked with planning Christmas events (despite it being a summer placement!) and assisting with preparation for weddings and corporate functions. This will literally provide you with the A-Z of event planning!<\/p>\n<p>If you have a particular passion for charities and fundraising (take note Kent RAG members), make sure you get involved with the 2-week placements with <strong>People United <\/strong>and <strong>YouCan<\/strong>. Here, you will have the chance to assist with the delivery of their community engagement events and assist with planning, which will include social media, marketing and much more!<\/p>\n<p>For the creative students, do you fancy planning your own event? <strong>Lilford Gallery and Framers <\/strong>are providing a work placement for an Arts student to set-up their own event! You will be responsible for creating guests lists, promotion, hospitality and most importantly, the performance!<\/p>\n<p>Lastly, if you are looking for a 10-week paid internship in event planning, we have an amazing opportunity with <strong>Visit Kent<\/strong>! This organisation is responsible for promoting Kent as a top tourist destination, and the opportunity will allow you to assist with organising various events, potentially including some large conferences!<\/p>\n<p>Remember, you need <strong>150 points for work experience <\/strong>and <strong>200 points for an internship<\/strong>! The deadline for this is <strong>19<sup>th<\/sup> March 2018<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>So in the meantime, why not assist a student society or University department by organising some more events?
