DSTL employs almost 5,000 people, who work together to deliver new and improved technology and systems. Employees include scientists, engineers, psychologists and mathematicians and people from a range of other disciplines.<\/p>\n<p>DSTL roles include:<img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-1725 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/employabilitypoints\/files\/2018\/11\/dstl1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"274\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/employabilitypoints\/files\/2018\/11\/dstl1.jpg 500w, https:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/employabilitypoints\/files\/2018\/11\/dstl1-300x164.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>DSTL has three main sites within the UK and has staff seconded into many organisations abroad. DSTL has nine priority science and technology capabilities:<img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-1726 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/employabilitypoints\/files\/2018\/11\/dstl2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"278\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/employabilitypoints\/files\/2018\/11\/dstl2.jpg 500w, https:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/employabilitypoints\/files\/2018\/11\/dstl2-300x167.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/p>\n<h2>Rewards 2019-20<\/h2>\n<p>DSTL are providing six remote work experience placements where students will work on a research project which will focus on the UK Government and\/or Ministry of Defence.
