Lilford Framing and Gallery & is a local art gallery and picture framing firm.<\/p>\n

The Lilford Gallery and Framers provides a bespoke framing service, which also displays the works of new, up and coming and internationally renowned artists in their gallery space. The gallery is over three floors, with an amazingly electric range of artwork, sculpture and jewellery.<\/p>\n

Rewards 2019-20<\/h2>\n

The gallery are providing two work experience placements focused on providing a complete gallery experience, including curating, sales, event planning, artist collaboration, marketing and research. The student will also be given the chance to set-up, plan and deliver an exhibition! There is also the chance to gain experience with the framing operations and work with the resident artist.<\/p>\n

Case Studies<\/h2>\n

Since 2013, a number of students have benefited from experiences within the gallery, from setting up their own events to undertaking research projects!<\/p>\n

In 2018, Carola D’Ambrosio undertook the placement, where she gained the chance to plan and deliver an exhibition for Fathers Day. Carola reflected:<\/p>\n

\u201cEveryone gets something different out of the work experience, depending on their needs and abilities. Putting on the show was a huge responsibility but also so much fun. It was intense, and I put 100% of myself into it. I kept working from home and made a selection that the director really liked. I learnt a lot.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
