A group of University of Kent students have grouped together to run a project to bring back the Kent Bunny as a permanent mascot! Here is a quick update from Damian Harateh, Special Projects Intern:
What’s HOP-penning?
Hi everyone. I am Kent, the official University of Kent mascot. I will be with you throughout your time at the University of Kent. I like to eat where you eat, play what you play and do whatever you enjoy, so keep an eye out for me! You might even see me at late nights in the library, trying to get in those last words for an essay!
I know the ins and outs of campus life, and I’ll let you know what’s hopping around campus.
Got any issues with University life? You can write an anonymous ‘Dear Bunny’ correspondence and I’ll be happy to help. I like to think I’ve learnt a thing or two in the five decades I have been here!
