DigitalReboot codebar – Coding 101

Are you interested in learning how to understand and write your own code?

Out of recognition of the shortage of women, LGBTQ and people belonging to underrepresented ethnic groups in technology, codebar began in order to encourage and increase participation in computer programming. Free workshops are led by Yoyo Design – a multi award winning digital agency – with socialising, free food and drink, sometimes a ‘lightning’ talk, then students are paired either 1 to 1 or 2 to 1 to start coding.

Taking place on Monday 28th October from 18:30 – 21:00 here at the University of Kent in Sibson Seminar Room 6. These workshops are held in an informal, supportive environment where you can learn at your own place and interact with others. Students can also claim 15 Employability Points for attending!
