EP Rewards Confirmed for Week 2

With term now fully underway, we are delighted to confirm more EP rewards covering archival work, corporate banking, journalism and legal! Check out the following:

 

Community Driving School are providing work experience opportunities to assist with creating training materials plus ten hours of driving lessons.

Becket Chambers will be offering students a mini pupillage, skills development sessions on advocacy, and 1-1 employability sessions on life as a barrister, CVs and general careers advice.

Canterbury Cathedral are offering work experience placements focused on generating ideas, plan, promote, deliver and evaluate activities and events in order to understand community engagement from start to finish.

BAE Systems are offering students the chance to have a tour of the BAE site (including the simulator facility and the opportunity to have a go on some of the equipment!). Also, a £150 Amazon voucher to the highest scoring first year undergraduate student.

Handelsbanken are offering work experience in their Canterbury branch, allowing students to gain an appreciation of how the bank delivers its services to private individuals and businesses.

Pentins Financial Planning are offering work shadowing opportunities; one shadowing the director. The other shadowing a financial planner at the firm. There is also an internship within social media and branding design.

Kent Live are offering work experience on Kent Live and the Kent Live newspapers, including covering both breaking and general news, ‘What’s On’ entertainment and leisure sections. Further experience given in sourcing, curating and writing content for local events.

Kent Fire and Rescue are offering a company experience day, including a presentation at the Road Safety Experience and a Fire investigation. Also – a guided tour of the Rochester Fire Station!
