On the 7th June 2019, a number of students gained the chance to experience a graduate assessment centre with Santander through the Employability Points Scheme.
Students were tasked with delivering presentations, undertaking group exercises and partaking in panel interviews. Furthermore, they received the chance to network with staff from multiple Santander branches and find out more regarding their graduate scheme.
Caius Horden (Kent Business School) commented:
“This is a really worthwhile opportunity for students going for placements. I know a lot of students who failed at the assessment stage, so this is such a valuable experience to help us succeed in the future.’
Kagiso Angela Rannowane (Kent Business School) also stated:
“I thought this was a really good opportunity to practice for real assessment centres, and I think it’s really good idea to get involved with EP and the rewards on offer as early in our student journey as possible!”
Santander Universities have supported the EP Scheme since 2013-14 through providing student placements, workshops, mock assessment centres and sponsoring the annual Rewards Evening.
