Kent Economics Summit

The Kent Economics Summit committee would like to announce, the Kent Economics Summit tickets are officially on sale! 

The Kent Economics Summit will be held in Templeman Lecture Theatre at 11:00 on Saturday 2nd March 2019 and will include lunch and refreshments. You don’t need to be an Economics student to attend and you can claim 20 points for going!

The tickets are £5 and can be booked here.

The event features the following:

  1. A thought provoking lecturer-student debate session on the topic ‘Economics is Useless?’

Come along and watch your peers, and lecturers debate in a powerful and provocative debate topic that will challenge your thinking about Economics.

  1. Inspirational guest speakers

Including Linda Yueh, a fellow at Oxford, and the author of: ‘The Great Economists: How their ideas can help us today’ as well as successful and inspiring alumni.

  1. Networking, book signing and lunch.

An opportunity for you to have Linda sign your book, network with guest speakers and amongst yourselves, and to share knowledge and create links for the future over some grub.
