Kent Enterprise Trust is a well-established charity based in Herne Bay and Whitstable, changing people’s lives by getting them into or back into employment and training.

About

For 30 years, Kent Enterprise Trust has been changing people’s lives by getting them into or back into employment or training. Kent Enterprise Trust offer work experience placements at Kent Enterprise House, allowing people to gain new skills and undertake a personal development journey.

Kent Enterprise Trust also allow people to develop horticultural skills at Stream Walk, their community garden in Whitstable, and their community garden in Canterbury, where they grow and sell their own produce.

Rewards 2018-19

Kent Enterprise Trust will provide a variety of work experience placements, 3 days per week for 3-weeks:

Environmental Champion  – Working closely with the Kent Enterprise Trust team to raise awareness about environmental and sustainability issues.

Volunteer Film/Photographer  – Working closely with the Kent Enterprise Trust team to promote events.

Volunteer Team Leader – Supporting volunteers, some of whom may have learning difficulties, or are recovering from mental health issues, to help them gain new skills and build confidence.

Marketing Volunteer – Work experience focused on marketing. The student will be reviewing the Trust’s Business Strategy and Marketing plans.

Events Volunteer – Work experience focused on events. The student will be assisting in setting up events, advertising events and staging events.

Fundraiser Volunteer – Work experience focused on assisting in fundraising activities, grant applications and delivering events.
