Kent International Law Society

Matthew Thomson – Student Liason

The law comes in many ways, shapes, and forms. We are the Kent International Law Society, a group dedicated to the legal field that sweeps across borders!

Our goal is to connect students who are interested in international law. Through a combination of networking events, informative sessions, and practical workshops we aim to better understanding of an interesting section of law.

Throughout the year we will have networking events. Our first is on October 30th, dedicated to meeting with organizations such as BPP University Law School and Herbert Smith Freehills. There will also be headshots taken for you to use on your social media!

Talks from groups such as “Share the World’s Resources” will also be sure to be informative, join us on November 12th.

Finally, Kent International Law Society wants to help you see the world. From November 26th to 27th join us on our trip to Strasbourg, France to see the European Court of Human Rights. Later on, in February we will also be going to see the International Criminal Court in the Netherlands.

Every trip also earns you opportunities! We are partnering with the Employability Points program to get you points for every event you sign up for, simply include your name and university ID to earn points towards interviews and more.
