Sandbox Event with Saga!

Saga are hosting an exclusive Sandbox event for University of Kent students on Tuesday 30th October, 9am – 1pm.

This is an interactive event where teams of up to four students explore different ideas for finding solutions to issues relating to Saga’s customers.

The teams will present back their ideas to Saga at the end of the session and Employability Points will be awarded. This is also a great event to put on your CV!

Saga are focussed on trying to solve the problems that their customers face every day. Some examples of these being…

– Dealing with loneliness/lack of social connection

– Dealing with limited mobility

– Dealing with new technology and using it to make life easier

– Dealing with stretched finances and budgets

– Dealing with the causes of and aftermath of insurable incidents (claims)

From these they have then tried to look at specific issues/solutions such as ‘how can we help people with limited mobility make the most of their holiday using technology?’

If you are interested, please email Jackie Fotheringham at j.c.fotheringham@kent.ac.uk

There will be refreshments and pizza available for attendees!
