We can all be Global Citzens!

At the University of Kent, we hope all students will engage with internationalisation opportunities on campus and pursue the mind-set that we can all be Global Citizens.

The GOLD programme is an opportunity to enhance that citizenship. As a co-curricular venture, it provides a framework of activities for globally-minded undergraduate students at Kent to develop their leadership skills, Global Citizenship and cultural awareness. With fantastic learning outcomes and benefits on offer, all undergraduate students are encouraged to apply for this great opportunity to do alongside your studies.

By becoming a Global Officer, you will gain the chance to undertake tasks including marketing projects, hosting global hangouts, participate in student media campaigns, attend workshops, support events and much more!

Through getting involved, you will:

  • Be able to claim Employability Points for each activity.
  • Be awarded a certificate and personal reference from the Dean of Internationalisation.
  • Recognition on your Higher Education Achievement Record.
  • Access to £50 worth of Cultural Intelligence (CQ) certification.
