The cost to the academic field of political science is less well known.<\/p>\n<p>However, a new study by the School&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/economics\/staff\/profiles\/fernanda-leite-lopez-de-leon.html\">Fernanda Leite Lopez de Leon<\/a> together with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uea.ac.uk\/economics\/people\/profile\/b-mcquillin\">Ben McQuillin <\/a>and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/economics\/staff\/profiles\/raquel-campos-gallego.html\">Raquel Campos<\/a>,\u00a0indicates that the destructive tropical cyclone led to 76 academic papers that would otherwise have been written never seeing the light of day.
