He completed his Doctoral studies at the University of Glasgow and since 2015 has held the post of\u00a0College Lecturer and Fellow in Economics at Christ&#8217;s College, Cambridge. His\u00a0main research area\u00a0is in macroeconomics with incomplete financial markets.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.empirical.economics.uni-mainz.de\/115.php\">Dr Andrey Launov<\/a>\u00a0will also join\u00a0Kent Economics in the summer\u00a0as Senior Lecturer in Labour Economics. Dr Launov is from the University of Mainz,\u00a0and has held\u00a0previous appointments at Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium, and the Universities of W\u00fcrzburg and G\u00f6ttingen after gaining his PhD at the University of Munich entitled &#8216;Structural estimation of search equilibrium models with wage posting&#8217; in 2006.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/asavagar.com\/\">Anthony Savagar<\/a> will join the School as Lecturer in Macroeconomics in the summer 2016, following the\u00a0defence of his thesis entitled &#8216;Macroeconomic Dynamics and Firm Entry&#8217; at the School of Business in Cardiff.
