{"id":656,"date":"2015-09-16T16:13:27","date_gmt":"2015-09-16T15:13:27","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/economics\/?p=656"},"modified":"2020-03-17T12:16:03","modified_gmt":"2020-03-17T12:16:03","slug":"economic-papers-best-paper-prize-2014","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/economics\/2015\/09\/16\/economic-papers-best-paper-prize-2014\/","title":{"rendered":"&#8216;Economic Papers&#8217;  Best Paper Prize 2014"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>An article by the School&#8217;s Professor Iain Fraser and\u00a0co-authors Harry Clarke and Robert George Waschik, has been selected as the winner of the <em>Economic Papers<\/em>\u00a0 Best Paper Prize for 2014.<\/p>\n<p>The paper titled\u00a0\u2018How Much Abatement Will Australia\u2019s Emissions Reduction Fund Buy?\u2019 was\u00a0officially announced as the winner at the 2015 Australian Conference of Economists in Brisbane in July.<\/p>\n<p>Abstract:<br \/>\nThe economic implications for Australia for replacing its carbon tax policy with an Emissions Reduction Fund (ERF) scheme are examined.
