Economics at Kent is\u00a0ranked in the\u00a0top ten of the National Student Survey (NSS)\u00a0again this year for\u00a0the all important question\u00a0‘overall satisfaction with the quality of the course’ within a field of 74 UK institutions. Placed 10th overall, this is the 7th consecutive year that Kent has\u00a0appeared in the top ten\u00a0for this measure of student satisfaction.<\/p>\n
Dr Alastair Bailey, Head of School, commented, ‘Coupled with our strong record in the other national league tables,\u00a0we feel that our NSS\u00a0result underlines the strength of Economics at Kent and the quality of education our undergraduate students receive. We are confident in claiming that Kent provides some of the best teaching in Economics and equips students with one of the strongest groundings in the discipline on offer in the UK.’<\/p>\n
Graduates of\u00a0Kent\u2019s School of Economics are also among the most employable in the UK, according to The Guardian University Guide 2016<\/a><\/em>.\u00a0The School is ranked 5th\u00a0in the UK for career prospects, with 86% of students finding graduate-level jobs or further study within six months of graduation.
