The first School of Economics Finalists’ Dinner was held at\u00a0the Abode Hotel, Canterbury, on Friday 10 April.\u00a0 This was a social event organised by the School for our final-year students to celebrate the end of the taught period of their degree. The evening was a great success and\u00a0we hope that this will become an annual event in the future.<\/p>\n
The glamorous setting of the Abode with the elegantly decorated dining room and delicious meal made the occasion feel very special, and everyone seemed to enjoy the opportunity\u00a0to socialise with fellow students\u00a0that they may not have seen much over the last year. After dinner the party really got\u00a0started, with a DJ playing all the latest tunes and\u00a0getting everyone up on the dance floor!\u00a0There were\u00a0plenty of memories made and we hope that students will look\u00a0back on\u00a0the evening and their\u00a0time in Economics with fondness.<\/p>\n
