On Friday 24th March 2023 we had a very informative talk for students interested in the Year in Industry programme, attended by 35 Stage 1 students<\/p>\n
Tom Hulks<\/a> (currently on placement at Morgan Stanley) and Sebastian Lofblad<\/a> (currently on placement at Goldman Sachs) were our guest placement student speakers returned to campus from their London placements to speak to us in person.<\/p>\n Each of them shared their unique journey to secure a placement as well as their ‘do\u2019s and dont’s’<\/em> for Stage 1 and Stage 2.<\/p>\n ‘Tom and Sebastian were sincere and generous with their advice to their peers.’ Dr Pen\u00e9lope Pacheco-L\u00f3pez Director of Placements told us ‘To secure a placement requires hard work and serious commitment, at the same time both referred to the very rewarding experience of working as a placement student.
