‘Kent Invest have had a busy first term with the weekly meetings and socials. Most recently, we had a ‘Wolf of Wall Street’ social in Woolf which was great fun as everyone got to know each other outside of the meetings.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Our meetings have ranged from the fundamentals of investing and technical analysis to guest speakers. We are planning a couple more socials before we all break up for the winter holidays and encourage anyone to come, even if you don\u2019t know a lot about investing.’<\/p>\n

What the best thing about fully returning to campus this Term? <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The best thing about returning to campus this term has definitely been meeting the new freshers and getting to know them more informally at the socials. <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

What\u2019s your favourite part of Canterbury campus? <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0The best place on campus is Dolce Vita. The chicken Katsu may actually be better than Wagamama!<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

What\u2019s the best thing about living in Canterbury? <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The fact that its a small city and that you can walk everywhere is a big benefit <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

What\u2019s the most surprising thing you discovered in Stage 3 about Economics? <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

A surprising element of Stage 3 for me has been how good attendance has been in lectures, although I am expecting to see a small drop during the England world cup games <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

What\u2019s the most relevant economic question right now and why? <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

For me, its when will the cost of living crisis stop or slow down? <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

What\u2019s the best student society here at the University of Kent and why? <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Easy question!\u00a0 Kent Invest <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Finally something for the festive season: Mince pies or Christmas Pudding? <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Most definitely Mince pies.\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n
