{"id":3233,"date":"2021-08-12T11:14:00","date_gmt":"2021-08-12T10:14:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/economics\/?p=3233"},"modified":"2021-09-07T13:00:13","modified_gmt":"2021-09-07T12:00:13","slug":"experimental-social-science-workshop-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/economics\/2021\/08\/12\/experimental-social-science-workshop-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Experimental Social Science Workshop"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"lead\">We would like to invite academic staff and postgraduate research students to participate in this hybrid workshop to be held at the University of Kent on 9-10 September 2021.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/economics\/files\/2021\/04\/eastern-arc.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-2818 alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/economics\/files\/2021\/04\/eastern-arc.jpg\" alt=\"Eastern ARC logo\" width=\"228\" height=\"148\" \/><\/a>The\u00a0workshop\u00a0aims to showcase and discuss recent advances made by the three Eastern Arc universities (Kent, UEA and Essex) in the use of\u00a0experimental\u00a0and quasi-experimental\u00a0methods.\u00a0The\u00a0workshop\u00a0targets economists, psychologists, political scientists, anthropologists, and conservation scientists.<\/p>\n<p>We are delighted to welcome <a href=\"https:\/\/www.imranrasul.com\/cv\">Prof Imran Rasul<\/a>\u00a0(UCL) as keynote speaker.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/economics\/files\/2021\/08\/FinalProgrammeWORKSHOP2021e.pdf\"><strong>Download the FINAL workshop programme<\/strong><\/a> (PDF)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Registration is open and it is free.
