What’s a Virtual Study Lounge? <\/strong><\/p>\n A virtual study lounge is a virtual<\/span> meeting where people hold each other accountable for getting work done for a couple hours.\u202f\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n At the beginning\u00a0<\/span>the<\/span>\u00a0mediator<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>gently\u00a0<\/span>prompts others to share what they plan<\/span>\u00a0on working on, and then everyone quickly\u00a0<\/span>starts<\/span>\u00a0to get down to busines<\/span>s. At this point, everyone mutes<\/span>\u00a0themselves, but some\u00a0<\/span>may keep their<\/span>\u00a0cameras on while others turn<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>them off.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n T<\/span><\/b>he\u00a0<\/span><\/b>mediated<\/span><\/b>\u00a0meetings will run from 4-5:30<\/span><\/b>\u00a0pm on Thursdays and Fridays<\/span><\/b>,<\/span><\/b>\u00a0but<\/span><\/b>\u00a0the Virtual Study Lounge channel is open anyone to use at any time.<\/span><\/b>\u00a0If enough people use it, there will always be someone in there.<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Who mediates? You do!<\/p>\n Please leave your name\u00a0if you are interested in being mediator for a\u00a090-minute\u00a0session for others to attend.
