The first Kent Workshop on Networks in Economics was held on 29 September 2017 in the Darwin College Conference Suite at the University of Kent.<\/p>\n

This half-day workshop hosted by the School of Economics brought together leading researchers working on theoretical and empirical aspects of networks in economics. Speakers included Sanjeev Goyal (Cambridge), Yann Bramoull\u00e9 (Aix-Marseille School of Economics), Gabrielle Demange (EHESS and Paris School of Economics), Cynthia Kinnan (Northwestern), Friederike Mengel (Essex) and Julien Labonne (Oxford).<\/p>\n

Overall, the workshop was a success, with around 40 attendees from the School and other UK universities including Warwick, Queen Mary, Oxford, East Anglia, Bristol, Leicester, Essex and Middlesex Business School.<\/p>\n

The workshop was funded by the School of Economics at Kent, and by the French National Research Agency (ANR) through the program 13 JSH1 0009 01.<\/p>\n
