In fact, if you look at the back of a textbook, you will notice a <strong>reference section<\/strong> that may include several <strong>journal articles<\/strong> (as well as books) that relate to the subject\/topic of the book.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>DO NOT PART WITH YOUR MONEY!!!<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p><div class=\"kent-video-wrapper\"><span class='embed-youtube' style='text-align:center; display: block;'><iframe class='youtube-player' type='text\/html' width='1280' height='720' src='https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/WnINWBQ0sgI?version=3&#038;rel=1&#038;fs=1&#038;showsearch=0&#038;showinfo=1&#038;iv_load_policy=1&#038;wmode=transparent' frameborder='0' allowfullscreen='true'><\/iframe><\/span><\/div> <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/WnINWBQ0sgI?autoplay=1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Play video &gt;&gt;<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This is because the Library subscribes to a multitude of journals across all of the subjects that are taught and researched at the University.<\/p>\n<p>Check out the methods below for finding out whether we have the journal that you\u2019re looking for.<\/p>\n<p>H<strong>ow do you find journals related to your SUBJECT AREA?<br \/>\n<\/strong><br \/>\nThere are <strong>three tools<\/strong> that you can use to find related journals:<br \/>\n<strong><em>\u2022 LibrarySearch<\/em><\/strong><br \/>\n<strong><em>\u2022 Browzine<\/em><\/strong><br \/>\n<strong><em>\u2022 EBSCO Publication Finder<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<h2><strong><u>LibrarySearch<\/u><\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Go to <a href=\"https:\/\/librarysearch.kent.ac.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>LibrarySearch<\/strong><\/a> and <strong>enter<\/strong> the <strong>subject <\/strong>or <strong>topic<\/strong> you are interested in.<\/p>\n<p>You should now see, at the top of the <em>LibrarySearch <\/em>page, the <strong>results of an<\/strong> <strong><em>E-journal search<\/em><\/strong>, which offers <strong>links<\/strong> to <strong>suggested journals<\/strong> via <strong>Browzine<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h2><strong><u><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-310 alignleft\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/anthropology-conservation-library-guide\/files\/2023\/03\/browzineLogo.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"101\" height=\"117\" \/>Browzine<\/u><\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><strong>Browzine<\/strong> is a service that the university library subscribes to, which <strong>allows you <\/strong>to <strong>search<\/strong> or<strong> browse<\/strong> for <strong>academic journals<\/strong> in your subject\/topic area.<br \/>\nIt is a tool that allows you to browse, read, and follow scholarly journal content on your mobile device, laptop, or desktop PC. It works by bringing together articles from our subscribed journals and Open Access material into a single place.<\/p>\n<p><strong>To try out Browzine:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Go to <a href=\"https:\/\/librarysearch.kent.ac.uk\/\">https:\/\/librarysearch.kent.ac.uk\/<\/a><\/li>\n<li>On the <strong>right-hand side<\/strong> of the screen, <strong>select<\/strong><em> Browse e-journals by subject<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Either browse the subject listing for your subject\/topic area, e.g. <strong><em>YOUR SUBJECT, <\/em><\/strong>and click on the link<\/li>\n<li>You may find that some subject links lead to further sub-links, e.g.<em>, Social Science and Behavioural Science further divides into\u00a0<em>Anthropology, Communication and Journalism, Criminology and Criminal Justice,<\/em> etc.<br \/>\n<\/em><\/li>\n<li><strong>Select<\/strong> the <strong>Subject\/Sub listed subject<\/strong> that you require and <strong>click<\/strong> on the link<\/li>\n<li>You should now see a\u00a0<strong><strong>list of all journals<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>related<\/strong>\u00a0to the\u00a0<strong>subject <\/strong>area<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Your subject may again<\/strong>\u00a0be <strong>broken down into sub-categories<\/strong>. Select the sub-category that is most appropriate for\u00a0you<em>.
