{"id":252,"date":"2026-08-20T15:04:32","date_gmt":"2026-08-20T14:04:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/economics-library-guide\/?page_id=252"},"modified":"2026-08-20T15:31:46","modified_gmt":"2026-08-20T14:31:46","slug":"module-reading-lists","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/economics-library-guide\/module-reading-lists\/","title":{"rendered":"Module Reading Lists"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignright wp-image-261\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/economics-library-guide\/files\/2026\/08\/TALIS-LIST.jpg\" alt=\"Image of a module reading list\" width=\"270\" height=\"163\" style=\"border: 1px solid #000000\" \/>A really <strong>focused resource<\/strong> for <strong>finding useful<\/strong> <strong>books<\/strong>, <strong>journals,<\/strong> and <strong>other resources<\/strong> is the <strong>Module Reading List<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Module Reading Lists are <strong>created by the module academic<\/strong> and consist of <strong>lists of books,<\/strong> <strong>journal articles<\/strong> and other <strong>information sources<\/strong> <strong>deemed relevant<\/strong> to <strong>studying the module<\/strong> in question.<\/p>\n<p>Each item <strong>links <\/strong>either directly to <em>LibrarySearch<\/em>, or<strong> externally<\/strong> to the information source in question.<\/p>\n<p>There are two ways of finding the reading list relating to your module:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Go to <a href=\"https:\/\/kent.rl.talis.com\/index.html\">https:\/\/kent.rl.talis.com\/index.html<\/a>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Enter<\/strong> your <strong>module code <\/strong>(e.g. CED002) into the <strong>search box<\/strong> and <strong>select<\/strong> the <strong>search<\/strong> icon<\/li>\n<li><strong>Click<\/strong> on the <strong>module link<\/strong> <strong>relevant<\/strong> to the <strong>year of study<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Examine<\/strong> the <strong>resources<\/strong> <strong><strong>listed<\/strong><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>The <strong>second option<\/strong> is to access the reading list <strong>via<\/strong> the <strong>Moodle module page.<\/strong>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Go<\/strong> to your <strong>Moodle module page<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Look<\/strong> for a <strong>box<\/strong> marked <strong><em>Reading Lists<\/em><\/strong> on the <strong>top right-hand side <\/strong>of the <strong>Moodle module page<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Click<\/strong> on the <strong>link<\/strong> to access.<\/li>\n<li>If you <strong>do not see a reading list<\/strong>, <strong>consult<\/strong> the module <strong>academic<\/strong>!<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A really focused resource for finding useful books, journals, and other resources is the Module Reading List.
