{"id":17,"date":"2018-07-20T12:07:47","date_gmt":"2018-07-20T11:07:47","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/east-kent-philosophy-teachers\/?p=17"},"modified":"2018-07-20T16:21:41","modified_gmt":"2018-07-20T15:21:41","slug":"inaugural-meeting","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/east-kent-philosophy-teachers\/2018\/07\/20\/inaugural-meeting\/","title":{"rendered":"Inaugural Meeting"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"lead\">16.30-18.15 Lattergate Board Room, The King\u2019s School, Canterbury<\/p>\n<p>The King\u2019s School, Canterbury and the Philosophy Department and Outreach Programme at the University of Kent are organising a forum for teachers of Philosophy and Religious Studies, or related disciplines.<\/p>\n<p>An initial meeting is planned for Wednesday 25<sup>th<\/sup> April for teachers to meet, consider ways forward for the teachers\u2019 network and to get a taste of the type of events we may put on in the future.<\/p>\n<p>We are lucky that Dr Graeme A Forbes from the University of Kent has agreed to give a talk on meta-ethics to support delivery of the Religious Studies and Philosophy Specifications at 6<sup>th<\/sup> Form (Divine Command Theory, Naturalism, Non-naturalism) including a survey of the contemporary meta-ethics scene.<\/p>\n<p>Our proposed agenda:<\/p>\n<p><strong>4.30<\/strong> \u00a0 Introductions.
