Lecture slides are an important part of the learning experiences for students in HE and should be diverse and inclusive in the same way as other resources such as <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/diversitymarktoolkit\/resources-for-diversity\/\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">reading lists<\/span><\/a><span data-contrast=\"none\">. Important questions to ask yourself include:\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Are the visual images in your curriculum relatable to your students?\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Who is missing or excluded?\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Are any stereotypes being perpetuated in the image I am using?\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">Research conducted by Mi Young\u202fAhn,\u202fKathleen M.\u202fQuinlan\u202f&amp;\u202fBarbara Adewumi (2023), <\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">examined visual content across social science lecture slides.
