Thank you to all those who joined us for a series of events with staff across our newly formed Divisions of Natural Sciences (NATS) and Computing, Engineering and Maths (CEMS) showcasing our innovative research and outlining our visions for innovating for the future in the STEM subjects.<\/p>\n

This year\u2019s\u00a0British Science Week<\/a> \u2013 an annual ten-day celebration of science, technology, engineering and maths \u2013 took place between 5-14 March 2021. The theme for 2021 was \u201cinnovating for the future\u201d and at Kent, we celebrated this with a series of events, looking at how the ground-breaking research being carried out at the University is shaping the future, but also asking our academics about their vision for the future.<\/p>\n We also showcased the work of our postgraduate students \u2013 the future of research \u2013 through short animated videos that they have created.
