Gear up to Grow – Nature’s Menu | Kent Community Oasis Garden<\/strong><\/h4>\n

This Wednesday (23rd October), find out what’s on Nature’s Menu in the garden, plant some bulbs for biodiversity and learn about the importance of lengthening the food season for wildlife. Come along from 1-2pm. Open to students only<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

UKC Conservation Society presents: ‘Would I Lie To You?’\u00a0hosted by Richard Griffiths<\/h4>\n

Back by popular demand! Join us in Grimond LT1 on Wednesday (23rd October) at 5:30pm for a Conservation Staff vs Students rendition of the gameshow ‘Would I Lie To You?’, with true stories and tall tales from working in the field. Expect some laughs! With trip to K bar afterwards. Open to all staff and students<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

DICE Seminar | ‘Conservation Criminology’<\/h4>\n

Mahmood Soofi presents this week’s DICE seminar on Conservation Criminology. Join us from 4-5pm on Thursday (24th October) in MLT1 for a discussion on this topic. Open to all staff and students.<\/strong><\/p>\n

“How nature conservation could benefit from AI\/ML”<\/h4>\n

As part of the E3 Sharing Space for Nature<\/a> programme, a range of speakers from DICE and the Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics (AIDA) Research Group<\/a> will discuss AI as it pertains to conservation. The event will take place on Friday 25 October from 12:30 to 14:30 at the Darwin Boardroom, Darwin College, and is open to<\/strong>\u00a0research staff and graduate students<\/strong>. Find the full itinerary in your emails!<\/span><\/p>\n

October Bumblebee Walk | Kent Community Oasis Garden<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Spend lunchtime with Bumblebees. On Friday (25th October) from 1-2pm, we will be identifying and recording bees as part of our contribution to the Bumblebee Conservation Trust’s Citizen Science project. Last chance to join us this season and it’s open to all<\/strong>, including members of the public.<\/p>\n
