100th Anniversary Poppy Appeal

The Royal Naval Association will be holding a commemorative service outside the Drill Hall Library on Sunday 10th September 2017.

This service is a public event to commemorate the 131 men who lost their lives during the WWI bombing raid of the Drill Hall on 3rd September, 1917.

During the weeks before the service there will be a display of handmade poppies in the Drill Hall Library.

If you would like to contribute to this display by hand-crafting or knitting poppies, please email to  dhl-feedback@gre.ac.uk

To find out more about the naval history of the Drill Hall, see our website http://campus.medway.ac.uk/about/history.html
