As we move further into the first term you will all have noticed that the Library is now starting to get very busy so please remember the following –

Please abide by the rules for the 3 Study Zones. Green is for Group Study, Yellow for Quiet Study and Red for Silent Study.  Don’t forget there are more PCs and Quiet Study spaces upstairs above the Group Study Zone.

Library staff will be roaming daily through these zones to make sure that students are using them appropriately but they are also on hand to answer your questions so please ask them if you need help.

Use the Noisy Neighbours alert icon on the desktop if your studies are being disturbed – staff will respond.

If you need more advanced IT help or assistance with finding resources for your essay, assignment or project then please visit the Student Support Zone adjacent to the Group Study Zone. They are staffed 9-5 Monday to Friday.

Look out for a series of special information sessions on “How to Avoid Library Fines” and “Tips for keeping your work safe” which will be running at the KeyPoint very soon.  Our events calendar has information on all the workshops available in the Library.

We are always interested in your opinions about how we can make this library better. Why not become part of the Drill Hall Library User Group which meets once a term.

Coming soon – iPad Loans! Watch this space.
