The Key Point is a new addition to the library, where we hope to offer a variety of drop-in surgeries and information sessions to supplement the support we already provide at the Welcome/Reception desks and Support Zone.

Where is the Key Point? At present it is a round table just outside the Archibald Hay Mess cafe but if the concept proves popular we plan to revamp the area and invest in more suitable furniture.

Information about sessions running will be posted weekly on the display screen in front of the Key Point table. There is no need to book for any of the sessions.

About David Bedford

I am a librarian at the Drill Hall Library at the Medway campus. I work with Schools and courses connected with health for all 3 of the Universities here. For Kent, this means I currently work with the Medway School of Pharmacy and the Centre for Professional Practice. My work-related passion is information literacy - equipping students and staff with the skills needed to identify an information need and then search for, evaluate and use the information they find. Outside of work, you'll often find me on stage, acting and/or singing in a variety of shows and concerts.
