Over the past year, the University of Kent Housekeeping Team has been raising funds for the Parkinson’s Centre for Integrated Therapy through various fundraising initiatives and have to date raised the incredible sum of \u00a31,360.\u00a0 We are most grateful to everybody involved for their support.<\/p>\n
Becky Verlin, Housekeeping Services Manager, said: “As a team we have come up with various ways to fundraise for this important cause including a name the sloth competition and an Easter raffle.\u00a0 With their permission, we also sell items left by students that would otherwise go into landfill to raise additional funds for the Centre.\u00a0 We hope to continue supporting the Centre in this way and have lots more fundraising ideas in mind for the next year.\u00a0 The Parkinson’s Centre is a wonderful idea and we are delighted to know we are supporting people in our local community and beyond who are living with Parkinson’s.”<\/p>\n
